Just to let you know that on Friday, November 20th, Christys Club will be hosting some fundraising events for Children in Need. Amongst other things, events will include ‘Guess The Name of The Teddy,’ ‘Guess the Number of Sweets in the Jar,’ Karaoke Contest, and (by popular demand!) Cream Pies. Club entry fees for this night will also be donated – the cost of each activity will be between 20 and 50p, so it is recommended members bring roughly £3-£5 extra on this night. Here’s hoping we can fly the flag and raise some cash for this worthwhile cause!

Many thanks to all those who returned forms regarding our Halloween party on October 23rd. Since the majority of the votes was for a Chinese Take-away, we will be laying on a buffet, which people will be free to ‘help themselves’ from. Admission to club will be £2 for this night only - this is to help with the cost of the food, and can be paid a week in advance, if you wish. Also, Members are welcome to bring along one guest to the party with them if they want to. (Admission will be free for guests.) Also, we are pleased to report that we are cleared to open from 7-10pm on the party night!
Following the success of last years Fireworks trip, we are hoping to organise another one this year - details to follow shortly…
Finally, please remember that the Halloween party will be our last night before half term. We will therefore be closed on October 30th, but will re-open on November 6th. Look forward to catching up with everyone then!
